Event Details

Come and learn about the mysterious, magical world of seeds with Meredith and Julie. How do seeds grow? What’s inside a seed? What do different seeds look like, and what are they even for? Create and take home an experiment to watch a seed in action.

Meredith and Julie are home educating mums at Living Learning, who have a love for the amazing world of nature. Meredith has just completed her Permaculture Design Certificate and Julie has an Environmental Science background.  They have both been gardening for what seems like too many years to count!

Cost: $15 HEA members, $18 non HEA members

Living Learning programs are pitched at a 5yrs and up age group as a loose guideline. It is an insurance requirement from HEA that parents are at the venue or provide written notice of their absence to the event organiser and have a designated “supervising carer” present for their children. When you are the “supervising carer” for another parent, please ensure you include the names of the children who are in your care when you sign the HEA sign on sheet.
