Homeschoolers Pottery – THURSDAYS!

January 5th, 2012
Due to last minute drop outs there are spots available in the Thursday pottery class for primary school aged home schoolers. Please pass this on if you know anyone that is interested. We need a couple more to actually run this class otherwise there will be some very disappointed budding young sculptors in our midst! Spread the word!

Classes will run out of the Blue Mountains Creative Arts Centre in Glenbrook. Here is a link to their website for more details:

http://www.bmcac.com/

Kids are guided and shown techniques but at the same time are free to create whatever it is they wish and to express themselves through this medium. Come along and make anything your heart desires, from bowls and cups, to pendants and rings, to dragons and crocodiles, pandas, cats, spag. bol on a plate, leaves, snails, coins, volcanoes….. These are all things kids have made! The class would suit primary school aged children either beginners or those with more experience with the medium – as you work at your own pace.

If you’re interested please email me asap:

contact@idyll.com.au

The term runs for 8 weeks and is $115 per participant which covers all your materials (clay, glazes, paints, firing etc) as well. Thursdays from 1:30-3:00pm.

Thursday homeschool pottery begins on the 16th of Feb from 1:30-3:00pm

We have fun, I love it, the kids love it and are wonderful to teach as they have no fears of ‘nasty sewing teachers’ from their past!
